Since March, the health and human services sector in our community has lost $40 million in revenue.
That’s the most jarring result from our latest survey with the United Way of Central Ohio and Illuminology, to which 76 area nonprofits responded earlier this month.
This underscores the imperative work happening in Washington as we speak.
The helpers need help.
We need Senator Rob Portman, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, Joyce Beatty, and Rep. Steve Stivers to come together and support our sector, and the issues critical to their work from child care, affordable housing, SNAP, healthcare access, and more.
