Position Summary:

The Executive Director will ensure mission alignment with partner tenants and programs/services, oversee building operations, and secure resources to support the Center’s financial health and sustainability. The Executive Director is the primary representative of the organization and will work closely with the Board of Directors, staff, partner tenants, and community stakeholders to fulfill the mission and realize the vision.

• Strategic Planning & Visioning: Ability to prepare the organization for the future, align stakeholders, and set a coherent long-term direction
• Fundraising & Financial Sustainability: Proven track record raising philanthropic, public, and private capital to sustain operations and programs
• Relationship & Trust Builder: Brings proven experience leading organizations through growth and change, aligning people, systems, and strategy to advance mission, strengthen performance, and deepen external partnerships
• Stakeholder Navigation: Experience managing complex multi-partner ecosystems with competing priorities
• Advocacy & External Leadership: Strong advocate for community needs and policy/system change
• Operational & Administrative Leadership: Ability to run day-to-day operations while advancing strategy
• Visionary & Solutions-Oriented Leadership: Forward-looking, innovative thinker who translates vision into action
  Equity- and Community-Centered Leadership: Deep empathy and commitment to South Side families and community-rooted models
