Title: Career Advancement Coach

Purpose: As a Career Advancement Coach, you play a crucial role in providing dynamic and energetic career coaching to individuals, preparing them for exciting opportunities with our select employer partners or further education and skills training.
Revitalize Training Sessions: Utilize our structured and approved curriculum to conduct engaging and comprehensive career development training. Prepare students not just for jobs but for a future filled with possibilities!
Creative Curriculum Design: Collaborate with leadership to design supplementary curriculum that meets the evolving needs of students and our valued employer partners.
Energetic Class Kick-Offs: Kick off new classes with enthusiasm! Onboard and engage new students effectively to set them up for success.
Empowering Workshops and Coaching: Facilitate remediation workshops and individual coaching sessions, providing the extra support students need outside the classroom.
Record-Keeping Excellence: Maintain and complete all necessary records and reports with precision, ensuring the seamless operation of our program.
Stellar Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including our esteemed employer partners.
Active Engagement: Dive into the pulse of Godman Guild agency activities and initiatives. Be a part of agency meetings, committees, and contribute to special projects that add vibrancy to our community.
Continuous Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay at the forefront of career coaching.
Flexibility is Key: Perform other duties as assigned with a can-do attitude!
Managing Student Performance and Experience
First Point of Contact: Be the go-to person for student questions and issues, providing them with the support they need.
Individual Career Counseling: Offer ongoing individual career counseling to guide students towards their goals.
Data Management Expertise: Ensure timely and accurate data management in our Guilded Edge CRM system.
Collaborative Assessment: Collaborate with the Client Success Coach to provide assessments and feedback to students.
Comprehensive Support: Accompany students to various engagement activities, including site visits, mock interviews, networking events, and lunch and learns with employer partners.
Alumni Network Champion: Provide Alumni Network support, ensuring a seamless transition for our graduates into the workforce.
Job Search Advocacy: Collaborate with the Client Success team to offer ongoing job search support to recent alumni.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with potential and current employers, working closely with the Client Success Coach.
Feedback Loop: Provide valuable feedback to internal partners regarding student barriers, trends, and successes.
Follow-up Services: Conduct monthly and quarterly follow-up services to both employed and unemployed alumni for one year following graduation.
Goal-Driven Management: Manage results against performance goals and contribute to a culture of empowerment and success within Guild programs.
Real-Time Data Entry: Keep our systems updated with real-time student data entry in Guilded Edge.

Work Experience and Education
Passion First: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field and/or 2-3 years of passionate experience in career coaching; relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
Diversity Matters: Experience teaching speakers of other languages is a big plus.
On the Move: Valid driver’s license with a clean record and proof of insuranc.
Tech Savvy: Intermediate computer skills and experience using office equipment.
Communication Mastery: Expert-level written and verbal communication skills.
Clean Slate: Satisfactory background check required.
Physical, Mental, and Other Requirements
The ability to work independently to complete remote work assignments.
Demonstrate patience and understanding with clients.
Must have access to a working phone or cell phone.
Must have access to reliable WIFI or internet connection other than at Guild offices.
The ability to work non-traditional hours. Some evenings and weekends required.
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment as necessary.
