On November 8, 2022, Columbus residents will vote on bond issues that include a $200 million investment in our critical affordable housing infrastructure. With 54,000 of our Franklin County neighbors fighting to survive through severe housing cost burdens that impair their ability to access safe housing, sufficient food, adequate healthcare, and other necessities of a good life this measure is desperately needed.
Because of the awesome potential to lift up our community, and because this measure will not increase property taxes, the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio and the Human Service Chamber of Franklin County strongly endorse this measure and express our gratitude to the leaders of this effort. We are joined in this endorsement by the local housing and human service organizations and stakeholders listed below.
