Dispatch Features Nonprofit Workforce Crisis

The Columbus Dispatch has published a major story on the nonprofit workforce crisis that has been hampering efforts to meet community needs here and across the U.S. for the last two years.

The story is nuanced and important, with no simple solutions.

But among them, as Maryhaven CEO states in the article, must be to “have an open and honest conversation around how we properly fund the nonprofit organizations so that we can keep delivering on these services.”

Thank you to The Columbus Urban League, Human Services Chamber of Hamilton County, and the National Council of Nonprofits, who are also featured in this story for their candor and their insights.

Please, read the full story and let’s work together with urgency to address this challenge so our community’s needs do not go unmet in 2023.
