Councilwoman Melissa Green Featured Speaker at HSC Membership Meeting

We were honored to have City of Columbus Councilmember Melissa Green as our guest speaker at our March membership meeting. Councilmember Green is the Chair of the Health, Human Services, & Equity Committee, and her passion for the health and human services nonprofit sector was evident as she expressed gratitude for all our members’ contributions to the community. We are excited to continue working with her and our members to create positive change in the community.

We also welcomed COTA’s Robbie Banks and the City of Columbus’ Rory McGuiness, who presented on the LinkUS Columbus initiative, which would advance intracity transportation in Columbus–a key priority for the health and human services sector that will be on the ballot this November. Lastly, we heard from Franklin County’s Curtis Grant and Brittany Stricklen-Hillyard about the County’s community grants program.
