The Human Service Chamber of Franklin County is an association of human service organizations in Franklin County dedicated to improving the quality of human services through collaboration, advocating for the needs of their clients, and impacting public policy. We invite all nonprofit human service organizations to apply for membership.

Benefits of Membership

Benefits for participating human service organizations include:

• Providing opportunities for human service leaders to collaborate with each other. One of the standing committees of the Chamber will be a Collaborations Committee that will focus primarily on opportunities for agencies to work together, focus on ways to increase efficiencies among the agencies, particularly through backroom operations including coordinated human resources, training, payroll, and IT functions; group purchasing for audits, health insurance, retirement planning, and other staff benefits.
• Exploring options for group-purchased health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
• Providing connections to funders, including private, corporate and governmental entities.
• Providing peer-to-peer networking and communication among members
• Providing a clearinghouse for information and updates about issues in the nonprofit and human service sector, and across funding systems.
