The Human Service Chamber of Franklin County, established in January 2010, is an association of human service organizations in Franklin County dedicated to improving the quality of human services through collaboration, advocating for the needs of their clients, and impacting public policy.
The Chamber’s mission is to enhance system efficiencies and effectiveness in order to develop one voice for the human service system by promoting, enhancing, and advocating for human service organizations and the clients they serve in central Ohio.
The Chamber’s vision is to become the respected and trusted voice for human service organizations and their clients in central Ohio; that human services in Franklin County will be accurately portrayed in the media, and well-regarded among political, business, and philanthropic leaders; and that the Human Service Chamber will enhance the quality of life for Franklin County residents through greater advocacy, collaboration and leadership.
The Chamber is led by a Steering Committee that oversees the policy direction of the organization. The Steering Committee guides the general membership of the organization, who, in turn, participate through standing committees such as collaboration, human resources, marketing, public policy, and long term funding for human service organizations.
The Human Service Chamber of Franklin County is led by Executive Director Yvonne C. Hunnicutt. She can be reached at yhunnicutt@humanservicechamber.org or at 614-429-4238. The HSCFC office is located at 2100 Stella Court, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
